                Beautiful and adventurous, Lake County is for lover's and lovers of fun.  

Friday evening at the Inn-

     We hope you arrive in time for Tea&Scones at four. Leave your luggage in your room and head to the Great Room. Covered in Devonshire cream and strawberry preserves, the scones are fabulous and still warm from the oven.  

     Join us at 5 p.m. for Pub Thyme, another wonderful English tradition that includes a crazy “British History Test” and Lake County wine, including a taste of Guinness..

     Dinner To enjoy the views of Clear Lake, walk the four blocks to Park Place or TNT. For more of the pub experience, you may enjoy excellent food and drink at Molly Brennan’s restaurant located a few blocks from us on Main Street. Other restaurants include The Saw Shop, Blue Wing Café and Saloon, Chop Sticks, Sicily’s, TJ’s Downtown Bar & Grill. Our restaurants are small with friendly staff, excellent food and a variety of choices.

     If a movie following dinner is to your liking, head to Lakeport’s Drive-In Theater, one of California’s last remaining drive-ins.

Saturday

     Start your day with our fantastic three-course breakfast in preparation for a full day exploring the many activities Lake County has to offer or hours filled with relaxation. Saturday Morning Farmers’ Market, tons of friendly wineries and wine shops.  Or, you can check out historical sites such as the County Museums in Lakeport and Lower Lake, look for antiques, enjoy walks or hikes at the state park, or head for Clear Lake to enjoy kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, or rent a boat .

     Fall is upon us, that means the Pear Festisval    , Harvest Festival and others.

      Return to the inn to take a Jacuzzi and a nap. or take a trip to the day spas which are within a three minute walk. Lazing about can do wonders.

Sunday

     Sunday morning is for sleeping in, although early risers may enjoy breakfast starting at 7 a.m. It is served as late as 10:30. Begin with a sparkling Pear Mimosa and follow with our three-course fresh breakfast. Enjoy. No need to rush, have breakfast outside in the courtyard if you wish.
