The Scots Room $195
The Scots Room is handicapped accessible, as well as being gorgeous.
You will love this room. It has a king bed, twelve foot ceilings, reds and green and a touch of tartan. Mary Queen of Scots was six foot tall, very unusual for a woman in the 1500's.The bathroom is the largest in the Inn. It is so big that even with a double Jacuzzi included, there is still room for her to do a Scottish dance.
On one wall is a needlepoint hanging that Mary herself designed .On another wall is a painting of Mary, who was not only Queen of Scotland, but also at one time Queen of France
You will also see an antique golf club in honor of Queen Mary's love of golf which she played regularly.
A series of Robert Louis Stevenson books are in the room for your enjoyment while at the Inn. He was Scottish. On his way to the wonderous seas to the west, he stayed in Napa and Lake County while courting his future wife. On Hwy 29 heading south, there is a state park named for him, showing off where he lived while he wrote about Black Bart the highway man.
The Mary Queen of Scots room is handicapped accessible.
